140th Jubilee

Back in the picture postcard setting of Dylta Bruk, this time for a party to be reckoned with. Squire Carl-Gustaf Åkerhielm and wife Viveka hosted the jubilee of 250 guests and the day was filled with high class entertainment, a steam train ride, a 4 course dinner and an abundance of fine wines courtesy of Dr Franz Werner Michel of Dom De Chant Werner & Cathrine Reichenberg of Villa Monte Rico.

I really like working with events at Dylta Bruk. The banquet wing is not the easiest of venues to shoot in but when the light is right the results are generally quite stunning. Below are some of my favourites from the proceedings, please keep an eye out for a full online gallery which will follow shortly.

ANNIKA & STUART

Annika & Stuart's wedding was a fun and upbeat affair with the party located at Duntreath Castle on the Scottish West Coast. As per usual last summer I wasn't allowed to take any pictures during the ceremony. It is always a good idea to speak to your minister in advance if you wish to have pictures taken during the service. For some reason some of them don't allow photography and I have seen my fair share of disappointed couples last summer. It may be worth asking...
